Bakpia is a food made from a mixture of green beans with sugar, wrapped in flour, then baked. Bakpia term itself is derived from the Hokkien dialect (Hanzi: 肉餅), from the word “bath” which means meat and “pia” which means cake, which literally means bread containing meat. In some areas in Indonesia, the food tasted legit is known as the pia pia or cake.
